How did you learn about IES? (Internet search, Personal referral, publications / articles, other)
What is the purpose of this inquiry?
What role do you play in this project? (Developer, Finance, Broker, Industry, Principal, other)
Do you currently or have you ever owned/operated a power plant and/or waste processing plant?
Yes No
Is this an investigative (academic) inquiry?
Is a Feasibility Study desired?
Project Feedstock - Check all that apply:
Municipal Solid Waste: Unprocessed/raw Municipal Solid Waste: Residual from recycling Municipal Solid Waste: Processed to RDF Municipal Solid Waste: Processed/shredded Biomass: Wood Biomass: Sawdust Biomass: Construction/demolition waste Biomass: Scrap tires Biomass: Sewage sludge Agricultural Residues: Animal waste Agricultural Residues: Black liquor Industrial: Auto shredder residue Industrial: Paints Industrial: Pharmaceuticals Industrial: Paper sludge Industrial: Manufacturing residuals (specify below) Medical Waste (specify below) Hazardous Waste (specify below) Liquid Waste (specify below)
Other feedstock not listed above:
Specify or add further feedstock information here:
Any anaylsis of the Feedstock should be provided so we can ascertain how the plant will be designed. Is Feedstock anaylsis availabe?
In order to do an estimated Mass and Heat Balance of the system utilizing your Feedstock, a Proximate and Ultimate analysis will be required. Is one available?
Moisture content and BTU of the waste is required to determine operational efficiencies and energy output. If known, what is the moisture content percentage?
Some external fuels will be required for start up and use in the process when the waste feedstock does not have adequate heating value. Knowing what fuels are available will help determine the operational costs of your facility. What fuels are available based on the location of the project?
Natural Gas Propane Butane Biogas Landfill Gas Diesel Other (specify below)
Specify other fuels, if applicable:
Size of the project(s) Feedstock consumption rate (in tons per day):
Do you want to have a power application?
Do you have use for a steam application?
Do you have some specifications for this project?
Revenue Streams: Power Sales, $/MWh:
Tipping Fees: $/ton:
Have specific purchasers of the power been identified?
Are there agreements in place for sale of products (i.e., PPA)?
IES manufactures the Advanced Pyrolytic System (APS) and will provide this technology as part of the project. However, IES can also provide the balance of the plant with the appropriate engineering and procurement, as well as construction, if required. In some case, there is an opportunity for IES to provide a developer, for a Build Own Operate facility, to a municipality or industry. Is the balance of the plant to be supplied by IES?
Is IES to supply equipment to include the pre-processing equipment (conveyors, shredders, storage, etc.)?
Is IES to furnishthe waste sorting facilities?
Is IES to furnish construction or project management?
Is IES to furnish buildings?
Is IES to furnish site and civil work?
Do you want IES to furnish a "Turnkey Project"?
Do you want IES to furnish equipment only?
Has the project site been selected?
Where is the project site located?
If project site has been selected, please specify the site properties:
Brownfield Greenfield Power plant retrofit/rebuild Pulp and paper plant Municipal/landfill project Located at a recycling facility Industrial site Other cogeneration site (specify below) Other (specify below)
Other site location specifics/type:
Available acreage?
Is water supply available at site?
Is natural gas (pipeline) available at site?
Is 3-phase power available at site?
What is the local power supply (voltage, frequency, and phase)?
Is a sanitary sewer system available on site?
Is a site plan available?
If this is going into an existing facility, do you know the current load/usage factor for the electrical supply?
Is there a rail spur on site?
Has provision been made for gathering and transporting the feedstocks to the site?
What is the distance from the feedstock source?
Project Financing: Has private funding been secured?
Project Financing: Is State or Federal funding availalbe?
Project Financing: Is equity participation desired (joint venture or partnership)?
Project Financing: Do you require a Build Own Operate Maintain model?
Project Financing: Will the project be put out for bid?
Timing: Project schedule (required completion date):
Has a Contract Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding been drawn up for this project?
